On the joyous occasion of the 17th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the Punakha Dzongkhag Administration, on behalf of the people of Punakha, offered heartfelt prayers for the continued well-being and long life of His Majesty and the Wangchuck Dynasty by lighting butter lamps and reciting the Zhabten and Golden Script Dokelzang at the majestic Kuenrey of Punakha Dzong.
The auspicious occasion was attended by Lop Machen Zimpoen, Dzongdag, Drangpoen, Dzongrab, Dzongkhag Tshogdue Thrizin, Gups, representatives from the Royal Bhutan Police, and the staff of the Punakha Dzongkhag Administration, reflecting the reverence and unity of the community in celebrating this historic event.
May Bhutan continue to be blessed with everlasting peace, prosperity, and happiness under the visionary and compassionate leadership of His Majesty.
