Book on Puna Domchoe and Tshechu Released

For the first time, Punakha Dzongkhag Administration released a book on Zhabdrung's Zeynam, Puna Domchoe and Tshechu Leyrim, and Pazaps Song.

First book: Zhabdrung's Zeynam:- It is a script of Zhabdrung's Zeynam which consists of 9 different scenes. The narration starts from the place called Bangdeykha (Bhutan and Tibetan Border). The book mainly covers the deeds of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in Bhutan. Besides this, the book has a synopsis of the three-day Tshechu program of Punakha.

Second Book: Annual Dromchoe and Tshechu Leyrim:- It contains an annual program held under Punakha Dzongkhag in collaboration with the Central Monastic Body.

Third Book: Pazap's Ludheb (Song Book):- It is a collection of old traditional songs (Zhungdra and Boedra) especially meant for the Pazap under the Dzongkhag.

These books will act as a reference to the younger generation, Local leaders of the Dzongkhag and incoming employees who will be joining to the Dzongkhag Administration in the future. The book is published by the Dzongkhag Administration in collaboration with Central Monastic Body. 

The book launch at DT Hall was attended by Lop Machey, Dasho SSP, Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Dzongrab, Thrizin, Gups of 11 Gewog and staff of the Punakha Dzongkhag. The booklets are also handed over to the local leaders.
