His Holiness Presides Over Third Annual Moenlam Chenmo

His Holiness the 70th Je Khenpo is presiding over the third Moenlam Chenmo in Punakha from today. More than thousands of devotees including monks and nuns from the Dratshang, Shedra, and Lobdras are attending the three-day long program at Thangzona.

After the three-day long Moenlam Chhenmo, His  Holiness will preside over other religious ceremonies such as Mani Kabum, Chakchen Jazhung, and Sangay Menla Kawang for 15 days for the first time.

His Holiness also presided over one hundred thousand recitations of Maitreya’s prayers at Chorten Ningpo under Kabisa gewog yesterday. A program is a three-day long program in which the remaining days will be presiding over by Gyalsey Truelku Tenzin Rabgay.
