Thousands receive blessings in Punakha Dzong

Thousands of devotees gathered at Punakha Dzong to receive blessings (Throm-Wang) from Lopen Machen Zimpon and Lopen Tsei Zimpon, today. It was a part of annual festival (Tshechu) performed under the for the well-being of all the sentient being. Along with the blessings, the sacred relics are also displayed for the public veneration.
