Cattle show

The Punakha Dzongkhag organized a cattle show at Dzomi Gewog. More than hundred of participants were gatehered at the cattle show event. The event was co-ordinated by Dzongkhag Livestock sector in collaboration with public of Dzomi and Shenga-Bjimi Gewog.

The main objective of organizing such event is to create the awareness to the farmers on improved and sustainable livestock products. Moreover, it is mainly to expose farmers to tradional and new livestock farming practices and technologies.

The program also serve as a venue for sale of animals. During the event, the prizes were also awarded to the winners by the chief guest.
