On 26 MAY, incessant torrential rain fell for two days which created havoc in Punakha, when swelling murky river gained its volume which ultimately submerged the river banks and some settlements near by it. Although no reports of major loss of lives and properties have been registered to the Dzongkhag authority but imminent threat still lurks in the minds of people if mother nature unleashes the hell from sky once again.
