Planning
The Planning Sector of Punakha Dzongkhag Administration is dedicated to advancing the noble development objectives of Gross National Happiness (GNH) for the benefit of present and future generations. It ensures the integration of GNH principles into planning, policy-making, and implementation processes. The sector prepares long-term development frameworks, and coordinates, supports, and monitors the execution of Five Year and Annual Plans for both central and local government.

Roles & Responsibility
- Provide and prepare long term development framework for the five-year plans and programme.
- Plan, co-ordinate, support and monitor the development and implementation of Five Year and Annual Plan of the central agency and the local government.
