5th Dzongkhag Tshogdu

The 5th Dzongkhag Tshogdu session of the 3rd Local Government in Punakha Dzongkhag commenced yesterday. The session was chaired by the Dzongkhag Tshogdu Thrizin. The session began with a review of the resolutions from the 4th Dzongkhag Tshogdu session, followed by deliberations on new agenda and issues submitted by various Gewog Tshogdes (GTs) and stakeholders.

The session was also attended by Lyonpo Namgyal Dorji, the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Employment, representing the Kabisa-Talog constituency, and Dasho Namgay Wangchuk, representing the Lingmukha-Toedwang constituency, both of whom were present as observers.
