Lingmukha gewog stretches over an area of 33.8 sq. km as per LCMP 2010 with an altitude ranging from 1200-3000 m above sea level. There are 124 households in the gewog, which currently hold a population of 597 people. The gewog comprises of five chiwogs and has five tshogpas. It is located between Shengana gewog and Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag.
Lingbukha experiences a sub-tropical climate which has usually cool winters with warm and humid summers. The annual rainfall ranges from 500 mm to 1500 mm while the temperature ranges from 5 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius. The Gewog has 75% of its land area under forest cover. The upper part of the gewog has extensive forest cover and people have easy access to forest resources.
The gewog has one RNR center, one Basic Health Unit (BHU), one primary school, one NFE center, one Multi-purpose hall, and one community center. About 99% of the household have access to safe drinking water. Nabchey Phuensum Gongphel Tshogpa is formed mainly for livestock production and promotional program.
The gewog has a high potential for paddy, wheat, mustard, maize, and horticulture production. The gewog is also connected by a motor road and has access to electricity connection. There is five temples under the Gewog.
