The ACREWAS project- Construction of water supply system for Toepisa and Barp Gewog finally commenced today with a simple groundbreaking ceremony at Lemjakha, Thinleygang under Toepisa Gewog. Funded through UNDP&GEF-LDCF, the project aims to enhance climate resillience and adaptation through integrated water resource management. It will ultimately benefit around 900 households including 9 government Institutions and around 10000 people.
The ceremony was graced by Dasho Dzongda and attended by Dasho Dzongrab, representatives from Project implementing Unit, relevant stakeholders and community beneficiaries.
