It is a universally acknowledged truth that there is nothing more indispensable to the development of a country then knowledge. The existing net enrollment rate for primary education in Punakha is 95% as of 2009, which is commendable.
Having succeeded this far, I do not see any major problem in achieving 100% enrollment beginning this academic session. Keeping everything to our favour, I would like to request all our able Gups, the Dzongkhag Education Sector as well as the respective Principals and my fellow Teachers to ensure that we achieve 100% primary enrollment with commencing of the year 2010 the academic session, which begins by the end of this month.
Your endeavour shall go a long way in fulfilling our sacred goal of providing basic education to all and in building a literate Bhutanese society sooner or later. Sooner the better for our institution of Democracy the greatest Gift from the Golden Throne of Bhutan to succeed and prosper.
