པུར་ན་བྷ་དུར་ཐ་ཀྲཱལ་འདི་ གོངམ་མ་ཞུ་བའི་ཧེ་མ་ ལོ་བི་ས་གྲོང་གསེབ་སྨན་ཁང་ནང་ གསོ་བའི་ལས་བྱེདཔ་Mr. Purna Bdr. Thatal, HA I who has served at Lobesa Sub-post under Barp Gewog for the last 7 years at Punakha receives the civil service award for his lifetime service. He has joined the service on 4th April 1989 and has served for 36 years in Health Sector. 

Hon’ble Dasho Dzongdag, Punakha Dzongkhag Administration conferred the Royal Civil Service Award to his clean, civil service record. The award was conferred to the recipient in keeping with the Royal Command issued to the Royal Civil Service Commission and also as per the Chapter 22 of Bhutan Civil Service Rules and Regulations 2018 for his dedicated service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum.

  1. What is the difference between past and future?

Things have become better now. When we started our career, we had no electricity and mode of communication. Now, we can consult doctors on various challenges and information regarding patient treatment.

  1. How do you feel when you are superannuating from the service?

As a civil servant, I feel content and satisfied. When I exit from the civil service, I am very satisfied too and if my health is better, I will continue to serve the nation and community.

  1. What were some of the recommendations for the young civil servant?

As civil servants, we have to be clear about the job description and responsibility. Therefore, I would like to urge all the young and energetic civil servants to serve the people well, so that you will be satisfied at the end of the career.
